Fashioned after an Austrian style washed rind cheese named “castle” we’ve been making Marin French Schloss since the early 1900s for a loyal (and growing) following of cheese lovers who crave its pungent aroma, robust flavor and rich smooth texture.
Pair with hearty California red wines, aromatic whites or dark beer.
Marin French Mélange Brie is a classically delicate soft-ripened cheese with a white bloomy rind. Flavors of sweet buttery cow milk and fresh tangy goat milk are blended in a smooth, creamy texture that becomes more piquant as it ripens. Mélange is made with fresh cow milk from neighboring Marin dairies and goat milk from Laura Chenel’s Chèvre family dairies in California and the Sierra foothills.
Pair with California Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay
